Product Description
A range of boxed Sounder Boosters complete with internal 24v DC power supplies suitable for charging Sealed Lead Acid Batteries . The Sounder Boosters are designed to meet BS EN 54 and BS 5839. They also meet the requirements of both the EMC and Low Voltage directives . Space is also provided to house the standby batteries .
Each Sounder Booster is housed in a sheet metal enclosure with hinged door , finished Grey White and suitable for Wall mounting . Facia LED indications are provided for Power Supply Healthy ( green ) and Fault ( yellow ) . Battery leads including interlink are provided with each unit .
A polarised Alarm input relay is provided to allow the extra monitored sounder outputs to be energised into alarm . A fault relay with CHO contacts will signal any sounder or power fault as detailed below . Each monitored sounder output is individually fused together with internal fault LED’s for either open or short circuit .
Fault monitoring is provided for main’s failure , charger failure and Battery disconnection . Internal LED’s are provided for mains/charger and battery fault indication . Low voltage battery monitoring will disconnect the battery to protect it from over discharge . A battery reverse connection protection circuit is also provided .
Various Sounder Outputs & power supply ratings are available so that the Sounder Booster can matched to suit the particular requirement .
